[There's a strangled, muffled scream when the audio clicks on, which is abruptly cut off by a wet sounding thump. Erik's cheery when he finally talks. NOTHING WRONG HERE, EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL AND NOTHING HURTS except for the poor bastard he's repoing.]
They get so loud sometimes, don't they. Sorry about that, I know how delicate some of you new folks can be. [He laughs, and it's not. particularly. pleasant. He starts whistling to himself, and other sounds fill the audio for a few seconds; very unpleasant, scalpels-meeting-skin sounds.]
The faire has been a nightmare in traffic. Some of us have kids to pick up from school, you know. Can't wait for that opera though, hm? Blind Mag's last show, it's bound to be a real smash. Did anyone get tickets?
[That was the sound of bones breaking; he's still whistling, still sounds like this is the most normal thing in the world.] There you are, you little fucker-- Spine replacements are always tricky. So many bones and nerves relying on one flexible bit of skeleton, mm? Terrible thing to lose one. [Erik laughs again, and this one's outright eery.] But that's debt for you. Every society needs its rules. [Another scream tears over the airwaves, but it's cut short with a few wet gurgles.] Shame.
Magda, sweetheart, if you're listening: do we need milk?
((OOC: Since it's all voice I can't add this in but Erik had some aesthetic/useful enhancements to his teeth. Because he's a shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark, duh.))

Erik slid his helmet under his arm and followed Raistlin to the restaurant, intercepting him before he could disappear inside with a gloved hand on his shoulder.]
Raistlin Majere. We've business to discuss.

Raistlin began speaking in a strange tongue and moving his hands, and, quickly casting his spell sent small darts of fire out of his fingertips toward Erik. It wasn't as much as he could have done at full power, it probably wasn't even enough to start a decent fire on the man's clothes, but it was enough that if it made contact, it should sting a bit and possibly let Raistlin pull himself free.]

But they weren't visible for long, because once he'd smeared soot across his cheek, Erik pulled his helmet down over his head - and laughed.] Are you going to run now? [He cried after Raistlin.] Go! Go! Run!
Re: Spam
I will not run. I will fight.
[A bold statement for someone who had been coughing up blood before, and likely would do so again if the mask was removed or if he simply overexerted himself. And Raistlin began speaking in his strange sibilant tongue again, this time reaching into a pouch and pulling out rose petals he'd taken with him when he'd left the Barge and throwing them at Erik's eyes. At full power, this would have knocked him out, but now it would only make him feel tired. Not enough to stop him, but possibly enough to slow him down enough so that Raistlin could get a few attacks in.]
Re: Spam
That's cheating, you know. What other upgrades haven't you registered? Dying of infection from a black market surgery yet? Come on, put away the toys and be a real man. [He laughs at his own joke.] At least try throwing a punch.
Re: Spam
[And with that, he began chanting again. If Erik didn't start doing something to stop him, Raistlin would throw more fiery darts. He wished he could do more, but he knew his more powerful spells would be bound completely.]

Re: Spam
Your heart doesn't need to beat to extract your eyes, you know.
Re: Spam
Yes. I know. If you're going to kill me, get it over with already.
[At least he could be fairly certain that he'd then respawn on the Barge.
Re: Spam - Let me know if you want anything changed, it's late and I'm blanking. XD
My pleasure, friend. You've been downright dull.
[He yanked the knife out of Raistlin's shoulder, then, and in one smooth movement, dragged it across the man's throat.]

Ahh, music to my ears. [He mimed the gurgling, and didn't bother to wait for Raistlin to go still before he turned his knife on those hourglass eyes. Job well done, in his book.]

Charles wanders back from the other end of the alley, wiping some blood off on his pants casually with his free hand, carrying his own spoils for the evening in a box under his arm, eying Erik and the body.]
Nice work.

Obviously putting a bit too much faith in whatever business investments she'd made. Honestly, what about these things make people decide they don't feel like actually following through on their payments?

Poor budgeting. It's people like this that remind me to raise Anya right. Magda, says you're welcome around for dinner whenever you'd like, by the way.
Spam
You know I'd love to. Are you all going to the opera?
Spam
Tickets are too pricey, but I promised Anya I'd take her to watch from outside. Are you going?
Spam
I don't know. Probably not.
Prefect wants to go on a date with me. [lol who are these people we work with bro.]
Spam
A date. [LOLING.] Did you let him down gently? [His version of gently is like a punch in the face though. Or literally a punch in the face. So who knows.]
Spam
By who's definition? [HE KNOWS WHAT YOUR VERSION OF GENTLY IS, BRO.]

I'll leave that up to you.

[He's getting vaguely annoyed, but he does chuckle while he works.] For someone so numb, you seem awfully affected by my teeth, of all things.

It's pointless to continue this conversation. Just remember what I said.
